Giselle Peters is a ceramic artist originally from Lumsden, Saskatchewan, Canada. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the Alberta College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Psychology from Concordia University. She worked for several years in the field of brain injury and developmental disabilities before returning to focus on her visual art career.  She now resides in Zaragoza, Spain.


Her sculpture focuses on contemporary issues expressed through figures of children and toys. In both her sculpture and pottery, decoration is an important element. She incorporates content onto the surface using underglaze, image transfers, and sgraffito techniques.


Giselle has participated in artist residencies and exhibitions in Canada and in the United States and has received two Individual Project Grants from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. She has also been involved in research for the creative arts in human development.
